Vancouver, BC, October 14, 2015—Copperleaf Technologies has partnered with Esri, the market leader in GIS (geographic information systems) mapping software. Through this partnership, asset and financial data from Copperleaf’s solution can be integrated with Esri’s GIS technology, giving clients the ability to visualize asset condition, risk, interventions, and other characteristics geospatially for more informed decision making.
This two-way data exchange enables clients to view the geographic location of an asset, and gain immediate access to its full set of information, including risk, costs, optimal intervention dates, planned investments, and more.
“This integration makes it easy to visualize and understand the relationships between assets,” said Kevin Ishiguro, Copperleaf VP of Products. “For example, if work is being planned in a specific neighbourhood, it becomes easy to identify high-risk assets in that same area and bundle all of that work together, to minimize customer disruption and increase efficiencies. The ability to visualize data geospatially brings significant value to our clients.”
Copperleaf is a Silver Tier member of the ESRI Partner Network.
Since 1969, Esri has been giving customers around the world the power to think and plan geographically. The market leader in GIS, Esri software is used in more than 350,000 organizations worldwide including each of the 200 largest cities in the United States, most national governments, more than two-thirds of Fortune 500 companies, and more than 7,000 colleges and universities.
