Vancouver, BC, June 21, 2016—The Copperleaf solution has been chosen by the Government of British Columbia to enhance its decision making process to rationalize and optimize its portfolio of information technology capital investments across ministries.
The B.C. Government undertook an extensive procurement process, resulting in the selection of Copperleaf, a decision analytics software solution that helps organizations decide when and where to invest, so as to optimize performance, manage risk and deliver the highest value to stakeholders.
“What’s really unique about this project is that we are helping the B.C. Government establish a meaningful and practical value framework that will enable very disparate groups of stakeholders to make investment trade-off decisions across a broad spectrum of value—from hard financial benefits to societal and environmental benefits,” stated Judi Hess, Copperleaf CEO. “I am delighted we have this opportunity to work with the Province on its IT portfolio decisions and hope this is the beginning of a long-term partnership where our solution will become a recognized benchmark in the B.C. Government and beyond.”
“Our mandate is to ensure the investments the government is making in IT will allow us to deliver cost-effective and high quality services to the citizens of British Columbia, today and in the future,” said Amrik Virk, Minister of Technology, Innovation and Citizens’ Services. “One of the key commitments of the #BCTECH Strategy is to make it easier to do business with government and we are thrilled to be partnering with Copperleaf, a made-in-B.C. tech company whose unique approach is helping us discover some very meaningful ways to measure how IT investments bring value to British Columbians.”
“It’s exciting to work with the BC Government and see the impact a decision analytics solution like Copperleaf can have on us personally,” said Phil Jones, Copperleaf VP Sales. “Ultimately, this means that as BC citizens, we can feel confident that the government’s IT investment decisions are evidence-based and risk-informed and will maximize the value of every provincial tax dollar spent on IT.”
