As Chief Technology Officer, Stan leads Copperleaf’s long-term technology vision. In this capacity, he works closely with clients to help them develop methodologies for valuing investments and optimize their portfolio decisions. Stan is skilled at assessing current-state planning practices within energy utilities and developing strategies and roadmaps for improvement. Prior to joining Copperleaf in 2009, Stan worked at Creo (and subsequently Kodak) where he was responsible for the software development of the Prinergy® line and grew the product to deliver more than $150 million USD in annual revenues. In his early career, he spent ten years with MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates, where he worked on meteorological systems, aeronautical information processing systems and defense systems. Stan holds an honours bachelor’s degree in applied science with a major in engineering physics from the University of British Columbia.
