The Opportunity:
We are looking for a proactive Helpdesk-Desktop Support Co-op, who enjoys the challenges of handling User and IT Administrative Support. You’ll also have the opportunity to build & expand your skills in networking/database/infrastructure management; learning from senior members on the team. Being busy, interacting with people, solving technical challenges, interested in continuous learning, and having a keen desire to “fix things” best describes you in your element.
We look for pragmatic solutions for our continuously growing user community. These roles will focus on handling ongoing user support and working on key IT projects to keep our IT services and infrastructure robust, secure, and current. Together as a team, we take on these multifaceted challenges – everyday there’s something new.
Key Responsibilities:
Working collaboratively with our internal teams and customers, you will handle user support and IT administration issues on your own, and with others on the IT team.
- User Support (helpdesk functions) – this is quite varied and will include a variety of challenges as people run into problems that they need help with – both hardware and software. Supporting laptops, desktops, servers, and mobile devices – from initial setup to refurbishing to recycling. This will include Microsoft Windows 7 and 10, Windows Server 20xx, MacOS, Ubuntu, Debian, iOS. Staff are remotely supported beyond the Vancouver location and time-zones.
- IT Administration Support – provisioning of laptops and workstations, software tools, accounts, and licenses, and on-boarding new staff. Account creation and management in Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 201x, Network Management tools, provisioning management, security and backup agents. Event and issue monitoring, management and response. Documenting support procedures and knowledge.
- IT Projects – Collaborating with the team on continuous infrastructure evolution. Selection, upgrades and integration – including, phone systems, networking, meeting room systems, security, and cloud integration products
About you:

We have an opening for a Solutions Consultant to join our Technical Sales team to fill the role of technical expert on all Copperleaf solution offerings. You will be a key part of the sales process and know how to find customer’s pain points and resolve them using software.
Region & Language:
Your role will be based between your home, the Copperleaf office (if in Vancouver), and clients across North America. You can expect to be on the road around 25-40% of the time visiting clients. About You:

Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical/engineering field, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge or strong interest in a relevant domain; asset management and/or electricity, oil & gas, water, transportation
- Experience in a software pre-sales role or experience in software implementation to large enterprises
- French or Spanish language proficiency is an asset, but not required

We’re looking for our first dedicated Head of Value Engineering, who is expected to build up a team of Value Engineering focused consultants to support business development and sales teams globally to build bespoke value case proposals for select accounts.
Value is at the centre of the Copperleaf proposition; in championing this cornerstone Copperleaf initiative, you and your team will support the sales team which includes Account Executives (AE) and Business Development (BD) to not only identify specific value levers that Copperleaf can unlock at those accounts, but also conduct required analysis to quantify value-at-stake and build a compelling story to position Copperleaf solutions accordingly.
You consider yourself as an outcome-driven business advisor, who can identify clients’ perceived and real challenges, develop perspectives on these and confidently execute analysis and compelling narratives. The Value Engineering team will spend time working on simultaneous projects - conducting research, developing hypotheses, iteratively analysing and creating high-value Copperleaf narratives for prospects.
Responsibilities
- Provide project management oversight required to meet expectations of your customers (internal BD and sales teams) on concurrent Value Engineering projects
- Provide leadership and coaching to your team members ensuring quality research and analysis, insightful synthesis and impactful recommendations to unlock value.
- Leverage your own analytical skills to problem solve and appraise market intelligence to inform and triangulate analysis and recommendations
- Consult business development and sales teams on Value Engineering approaches for their accounts, and support teams in tasks ranging from desktop research to technical analysis and final report preparation
- Coach and when needed, attend client meetings (together with AEs) to support value-based discussions, validate Value Engineering hypotheses and recommendations
- Develop your team members, ensuring career development and growth within Copperleaf
- Continually improve and develop Copperleaf’s Value Engineering approach, considering the different industries that we serve, the different levels of maturity of prospect accounts and our growing product suite and capability
Qualifications & Considerations
- You’re curious and resourceful, and enjoy problem solving, analysing, and gathering insights to support consultative client interactions; you have in your career-to-date led client projects of reasonable complexity (topic, stakeholders, project circumstances) to deliver impactful outcomes
- You’re highly numerate with strong analytical skills and have a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject, e.g., Engineering, Natural Sciences, Business/ Accounting, or related subject. Ideally you have 5 years minimum experience in management consulting, have an MBA or can demonstrate experience holding a management position, leading strategic efforts, and participating in business decision-making
- You are playing, or have played, a trusted advisor role, with clients seeking your advice on business issues that may extend beyond immediate scope of your project work
- You have a keen attention to detail and strong organization skills, and have managed project delivery teams in the past
- You thrive on providing insightful analysis to your customers, challenging their thinking and assumptions, and are keen to lead a cornerstone initiative for Copperleaf

We have an opening for a consultative Enterprise Sales Account Executive to join our team in the United States and Canada.
Responsibilities:
As one of Copperleaf’s Account Executives you will be assigned customer accounts and drive the identification and qualification of opportunities while executing account strategy and generating license, support and services revenues. This role is focused on working with new accounts who are not currently Copperleaf clients.
Your role will include the following activities:
- Work with your assigned accounts to build a network of relationships across multiple functional areas and levels of the organization
- Deeply understand each account’s challenges and opportunities in the portfolio planning and asset management spaces. Identify how Copperleaf can make a difference to the account’s business and to the personal success of our champions
- Co-create a solution roadmap with accounts where it makes sense for us to engage
- Drive the procurement and commercial processes to successfully close business.
- Lead a Copperleaf “deal team” to support both solution definition and sales process execution
- Champion the needs of your customer and your deal internally within Copperleaf
- Continuously gather knowledge of competitors and how to effectively position our solution
- Drive a sales process that will highlight our solution as a strategic advantage to the prospect
- Routinely discuss and communicate opportunity plan sales strategy with other members of the account team, as well as field and corporate management
- Maintain an accurate and documented pipeline of opportunities (prospects and suspects) within CRM
Requirements:
- You naturally connect with people and make friends wherever you go
- You are focused on creating great outcomes for your customers and love to see their success
- You love challenges and are driven to win
- You have strong skills in problem solving and strategic thinking
- You have experience and are comfortable selling enterprise software to C level executives
- You know how to navigate complex organizations and have experience with complex software sales, solution selling and value based selling
- You can position new business within the account by developing, communicating and driving effective selling strategies that are based on a customer-specific value proposition
- You enjoy leading a cross-functional team to drive results
- You have dynamic presentation skills, the ability to articulate customer problems and challenges, and then link them to the value proposition
- You have general familiarity with consultative selling methodologies
- You enjoy travelling and are willing to spend 50% of your time visiting clients or attending industry events in the region (during COVID, travel expectations will vary based on target account locations and relevant Copperleaf guidelines, account guidelines, and local/federal regulations)
- Experience in asset intensive industries such as Utilities, Oil & Gas, Mining, Public Sector or Transportation is desirable
