Copperleaf Wins 2017 BC Tech Adoption of Technology Award

Vancouver, BC, June 26, 2017—Copperleaf and its client, the B.C. Government, have jointly been awarded the 2017 BC Tech Association’s Technology Impact Award (TIA) for “Adoption of Technology.” The TIAs celebrate the successes of the tech industry and the companies, people and innovation that continue to put British Columbia on the map. This award category recognizes a solution that has significantly improved the productivity, competitiveness, or profitability of the customer’s organization.

In 2016, the Ministry of Technology, Innovation and Citizens’ Services’ Information Management/Information Technology Capital Investment Branch implemented the Copperleaf Decision Analytics Solution to help them plan, manage and optimize their investments more strategically.

“We’re honored to share the TIA Adoption of Technology Award with the B.C. Government,” said Judi Hess, CEO of Copperleaf. “It’s confirmation of the hard work and strong collaboration of the B.C. Government and Copperleaf teams. Copperleaf has helped the government streamline its investment planning, align new investment proposals to government priorities, and model scenarios to determine the highest value for money.”

“The BC Tech industry has never been more vibrant and diverse. Every year through the TIAs, we celebrate the technology up-and-comers and leaders that are transforming the BC tech ecosystem,” said Bill Tam, President of the BC Tech Association. “The calibre of talent of the finalists and winners this year is outstanding and we congratulate each of them for their accomplishments.”

Winners were announced June 22nd at the 24th annual Technology Impact Awards Gala. Phil Jones, Vice President of Sales accepted the award alongside Corinne Timmermann, Executive Director IM/IT Capital Investment Branch for the B.C. Government. The complete list of winners is available here.
