Danilo Prates is the Vice President of Research and Development at IFS Copperleaf, where he leads software development, AI innovation, and large-scale product initiatives. Since joining Copperleaf in 2016, Danilo has held various leadership roles across product management, data analytics, and AI strategy.
Before IFS Copperleaf, he spent over a decade at Petrobras in Brazil, holding senior positions in asset management and industrial automation. Danilo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and an MBA in Finance.
Passionate about creating solutions with real-world impact, Danilo believes in the power of collaboration, transparency, and continuous learning. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, photography, filmmaking, and exploring creative projects that bring people together.
