Zahra Kolia serves as the Vice President of Finance at IFS Copperleaf, where she leads the finance function across financial reporting, strategic planning, FP&A, and operations. With a focus on leveraging AI, Zahra is driving transformation in finance and broader business to improve agility, insight, and decision making.
Since joining IFS Copperleaf in 2019, she has supported the company through key milestones, including its IPO on the TSX and acquisition by IFS. Zahra is recognized for her steady leadership, operational focus, and ability to build scalable financial processes in high-stakes environments.
Before IFS Copperleaf, Zahra spent time at KPMG in Canada and South Africa, bringing global experience and strong technical knowledge to her role. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting, and is both a CPA and CA(SA).
Her work has been recognized with the CPABC Early Achievement Award, highlighting her impact as a rising leader in the field. She also serves on the Finance & Audit Committee at Equestrian Canada and the Board of Dixon Transition Society, reflecting her interest in governance and community service.
