Vancouver, BC, July 8, 2021—Copperleaf®, a global leader in decision analytics solutions, has been chosen as a finalist in the Spirit of BC Tech: Resilience category for this year’s BC Tech Association’s Technology Impact Awards (TIAs). The TIAs celebrate outstanding companies and individuals that have made a significant impact on the BC tech industry.
This Spirit of BC Tech: Resilience award recognizes companies that have demonstrated their ability to adapt amidst the challenges of the past year and contribute their energy and innovation to building the resilience of British Columbia and Canada.
“This past year, companies managing critical infrastructure faced tremendous challenges and yet, were able to react swiftly and safely to continue delivering the essential services that we all depend on. We are proud to have helped them adapt their plans and make the best use of their scarce resources to get through these uncertain times,” said Judi Hess, Copperleaf CEO. “Copperleaf has also proven its resilience in the past year. We’ve been able to exceed our sales goals in a rapidly changing environment, which has allowed us to continue to create jobs in the BC tech sector and support local businesses through our community initiatives and fundraising efforts.”
“Throughout the COVID-19 crisis the province’s tech sector pulled together to support our communities, help small business to adopt technology, provide reskilling programs and put workers displaced by COVID into new jobs in the tech sector,” added Jill Tipping, BC Tech President and CEO. “BC Tech companies built the resilience of British Columbia this year and the stories are inspiring! With more applicants than ever before, the TIAs celebrate a community of bold optimists and innovators that is transforming BC’s economy.”
