Vancouver, November 29, 2013 – Copperleaf is now live at BC Hydro. Thanks to the dedicated teams at BC Hydro and Copperleaf, the solution was implemented smoothly and quickly – one week ahead of plan. Copperleaf CTO, Stan Coleman and Product Specialist, James Bredenhof successfully trained asset managers, fleet staff, and system administrators at BC Hydro who are now ready to utilize the Asset Investment Planning and Management system before the end of 2013.
“The success of this project is truly due to the professionalism, drive, and knowledge of the BC Hydro and Copperleaf teams. This has been the fastest implementation that Copperleaf has ever done with the initial workshop occurring only 8 weeks ago,” said Barry Quart, Copperleaf Director of Partner Development. “We’re excited that BC Hydro selected our AIPM solution and that their asset management group can enhance their decision-making process by including the benefits of the Copperleaf solution.”
BC Hydro’s Manager of Asset Management and Planning, Kirsten Peck further stated, “BC Hydro’s Generation Asset Management team has been working hard over the past three years to move its asset management capabilities to the next level. The implementation of Copperleaf provides a solid foundation for our team to practice our craft and we’re very excited to have the Copperleaf system!”
Copperleaf helps asset-intensive organizations re-think the traditional approach to capital planning, asset life-cycle planning, and budgeting. We pioneered C55 to help organizations integrate planning, analysis, approval, and execution so that they can make asset investment decisions that are effective, transparent, and focused on the long-term performance of the organization. Since 2000, we have been empowering utilities and other asset intensive organizations to make decisions with greater confidence.
