Copperleaf RAD

Delivering Random Acts of Delight

At Copperleaf®, giving back to our local communities is an inherent part of our culture. The Copperleaf RAD initiative allows our people to get involved and support causes close to our hearts. Our employees suggest activities, then we form a team with those who feel strongly about the charity in focus. It’s a fun way for us to support the things that matter to all of us, give back to our local communities, and motivate people to get involved.

Thank you so much for everything. That was a lot more than I ever expected!! I can’t express my gratitude enough. It’s very nice to not feel the pressure of being financially depleted in January, it’s always the hardest month to get through.”

With your help, Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver is able to provide affordable homes in the upcoming years to 12 families in Richmond . . . all thanks to the support of hard working volunteers like yourselves. Together, we are ensuring that affordable home ownership remains within reach of deserving families.”

We really appreciate Copperleaf’s donation and support. The furniture will be put to good use in the SpencerCreo Centre and help us provide non-profit organizations in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside with affordable office space and a collaborative, supportive work environment, including Social Venture Partners Vancouver, Growing Chefs!, ONE TO ONE Literacy, Mom to Mom Child Poverty Initiative, Red Fox Healthy Living Society, and Yo Bro Youth Initiative.”

The Copperleaf project team will evaluate and measure the social, medical, and economic benefits of the proposed ramps that will open up bridge access to so many people. We are so grateful to Copperleaf for being part of the pro bono Operational Research expert base.”

David Morgan Friends of Lucy’s Mill Bridge Business Development Consultant

Copperleaf RAD events are not only fun, but truly bring us together as a team. Working together to help others is very gratifying, whether we are running for a cause or cleaning up a greenspace. I am so grateful to be a part of a company who values giving back to the community we live in.”

Making An Impact With Pro Bono Work

As part of our commitment to help create positive and enduring change in the world, we look for opportunities to share our experience and expertise with non-profit organizations and collaborate on pro bono work.

In a recent project, Copperleaf worked with the Operational Research Society and Friends of Lucy’s Mill Bridge Community Interest Company on an accessibility project for Lucy’s Mill Bridge, a historic footbridge that serves as an important link to the town centre for residents and tourists of Stratford, England.
