Shaping the Future of Asset Investment Planning: Highlights from the IFS Copperleaf Exchange Roadmap Workshop

Recently, we hosted the IFS Copperleaf Exchange Roadmap Workshop at the IFS UK office, bringing together customers from across the UK and Ireland to shape the future of AIP and Industrial AI.
A Community Driving Change
The event brought together customers from across rail, water, and energy, representing organisations such as Network Rail, Affinity Water, Uisce Éireann (Irish Water), South Staffs Water, United Utilities, SGN, and more. Participants represented the full spectrum of AIP roles, from delivery managers and planners to senior asset and investment leaders.
That diversity mattered. It created space for open discussion across industries, perspectives, and planning maturity – grounded in real challenges and real outcomes.
From Listening to Co-Innovation
This was not a traditional roadmap presentation. Instead, the workshop was designed as a hands-on, working session where customer insight directly shaped the conversation.
Together, customers and IFS Copperleaf product leaders explored:
