Connecting the Tracks: Rail Capital Planning Roundtable with IFS Copperleaf
Rail organisations across Europe are under growing pressure to renew ageing infrastructure, modernise networks and create capacity for future growth, all while working within constrained capital, resources and delivery capacity.
This Rail Capital Planning Roundtable brings together capital planning and asset management leaders from France, the UK and Germany for a half-day discussion hosted by IFS Copperleaf. Participants will join from IFS offices across Europe and the UK for one shared conversation on how rail organisations are responding to common investment challenges, defending plans as priorities and funding shift, and balancing safety-critical renewal with growth and decarbonisation commitments. SNCF Gares & Connexions joins as anchor customer, sharing how they navigate capital planning in their own organisations.
Rather than a series of presentations, the session is designed as a facilitated peer exchange, giving leaders the opportunity to compare approaches across markets and explore where lessons from other rail organisations can inform decisions at home.
This is a community event, not a sales session. IFS Copperleaf will provide the setting and a short perspective on asset investment planning, while the substance of the discussion comes from the operators in the room. The session will close with lunch and an optional discussion on where asset investment planning is heading next.
