Salt River Project Goes Live with Copperleaf C55By Copperleaf
Vancouver, BC, October 2, 2018—The Copperleaf C55™ Decision Analytics solution is now live at Salt River Project (SRP), a community-based, not-for-profit public power utility and the largest provider of electricity in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area, serving more than 1 million customers. C55 was selected to facilitate the capital planning and investment optimization process in SRP’s Generation and Transmission business unit.
“SRP is already realizing the benefits of the C55 software in more consistent, thorough and comprehensive project evaluations. The value-based framework helps us understand the tradeoffs between investments of all types,” said Kevin Nielsen, Salt River Project Senior Director, Valley Generation. “The Copperleaf team and technology bring a wealth of experience that have helped SRP make things simple and quick to implement.”
“It’s been a tremendous partnership throughout the project cycle, and we are very proud of the joint SRP and Copperleaf teams for completing the successful implementation in only ten weeks time,” said Judi Hess, Copperleaf CEO. “Copperleaf C55 will help SRP improve its investment decision-making processes and will provide a consistent and sustainable Value Framework for making trade-off decisions when optimizing capital expenditures.”
