As Global VP Product Development, Mike is responsible for developing Copperleaf's product strategy and roadmap, and ensuring we continue to attract and grow our people by providing meaningful work that supports Copperleaf's purpose and vision. He is focused on building a world-class team that can navigate complex technical challenges—and create innovative solutions that deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Mike joined Copperleaf in 2016 and has managed a number of key initiatives with broad impact. He led the team that created processes and systems to support how we define and deliver custom Value Frameworks to our clients. He also developed the Copperleaf Automated Testing (CAT) team, reducing the time required to test products prior to launch. Most recently, Mike played a key role on the Copperleaf Value Model Library development team and the architecture team, providing technical consulting on design and architectural decisions that span multiple teams, products, and systems.

Prior to Copperleaf, Mike served as VP Product Development at Aquatic Informatics where he expanded the development team and implemented an agile development methodology to deliver software to hundreds of customers worldwide. He also held various leadership roles at Creo (and subsequently Kodak), and MDA. Mike has a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Science in Geography (GIS) from UBC. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time in the great outdoors—skiing, mountain biking, and hiking with his family.
