As Vice President, Product Innovation, Bill joined Copperleaf to maintain and enhance Copperleaf's innovation culture as it grows and takes on new challenges and markets. Bill joined Copperleaf in June 2018 after leading many successful new product introductions at Teradici Corporation and Creo Inc. He has a passion for building high-performance teams that build high-performance products, and has successfully developed a wide variety of hardware and software solutions, including large high-precision electromechanical devices such as the Magnus VLF Platesetter, enterprise software such as the remoting and gateway components of VMWare Horizon View, and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings such as Teradici's Cloud.
He's an advocate for using lean and agile processes to maintain high product quality and responsiveness to customer needs. Bill holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons) degree in Engineering Physics from Simon Fraser University, and is a Professional Engineer in British Columbia, Canada. He enjoys learning about the cultures of the world, looking up at large things like historical structures and old trees, listening to eclectic progressive rock, and going out for civilized walks with his family and the dogs, preferably ending at a pub.
